LEE’S LEGENDS
Lee District has prospered because of the excellent leadership and dedicated service of our members. In an effort to acknowledge and remember these empowering women, the Lee District Executive Committee has established a special hall of fame entitled Lee's Legends. This lifetime distinction was awarded for the first time at the 2001 Lee District Annual Meeting.

Selection Criteria
1. Recognition for this lifetime distinction will be awarded every two (2) years at the Lee District Annual Meeting during the second year of the administration.
2. This distinction will be awarded to no more than four (4) honorees during each recognition period.
3. To qualify, the member must have distinguished herself through ongoing service to Lee District and she must currently be serving as a member of a Lee District club.
4. Selection for this distinction will be made by the Lee’s Legends Committee, approved by the Lee District Executive Committee, and based exclusively on Lee District activities.
5. General and Junior members are eligible for this distinction.
6. Current elected members of the Lee District Executive Committee are ineligible for this distinction.
7. Recommendations must be submitted using the Lee’s Legends Recommendation Form. (To assure that the information is accurate and complete, clubs and/or members submitting a recommendation are strongly encouraged to confirm all information with the member being recommended for this distinction.)
8. A letter of club endorsement is not required, but may be attached to the Lee’s Legends Recommendation Form.
9. Recommendations must be submitted during the second year of the administration to the Lee District Second Vice President by December 1.
10. Honorees are requested to attend the Lee District Annual Meeting.
