Lee's Traveller, Lee District's Newsletter Online Subscriptions to the E-Traveller are free to all members of Lee District. See your club E-Contact for ID and Password. Paper Subscriptions: $8 (3-4 issues) or $6 per member for clubs with 100% membership subscriptions. Lee’s Traveller subscriptions (for paper copies by mail) are $8/year per subscription. For clubs that are 100% subscribed (for paper copies by mail) the cost is $6/year per subscription. Lee’s Traveller electronic subscriptions (E-Traveller subscriptions) are now available to ALL members of Lee District at NO COST from the District Website. All District Officers, Junior Officers, Chairmen, Junior Chairmen, Club Presidents, and Lee District members serving GFWC Virginia as Officers and Special Appointments receive complementary online subscriptions to Lee’s Traveller. Members receiving complementary online subscriptions will receive a notification email when a new issue is available. To facilitate the notification of the online edition of Lee’s Traveller, we are asking each club to designate one member to serve as the Club E-Contact. The primary role of the Club E-Contact will be to notify those members of her club wishing to receive the E-Traveller when each issue is available on the District Website. It is recommended that each Club President delegate this responsibility to a reliable member who is comfortable managing email groups. Club Presidents will receive a separate notification when each issue of the E-Traveller is available on the District Website. Additionally, ALL District-wide email updates will continue to be directed to the Club Presidents. For Club Presidents without email access, those email updates will be directed to the Club E-Contact to pass along. |
Newsletter and Handbook LoginThe user name and password are different for the newsletter and handbook. PROBLEMS: Please contact your club's e-contact listed on the General Presidents or Junior Presidents page. if you did not receive a new ID and password. Your club's e-contact should email LEE DISTRICT'S JUNIOR EDITOR if she did not receive this information. Be sure you have the NEWEST version of Adobe Reader installed on your computer to view the file--currently V.10. Lee District Handbook and SupplementThe Lee District Executive Committee has voted to discontinue giving free paper copies of Lee’s Traveller and the District Handbook/Supplement to District Chairmen. The Handbook is available for FREE on the District website. Since the cost of printing and postage has increased so much, this will result in a considerable reduction in District expenses thus avoiding the need for a dues increase. All District Chairmen will receive email notification from Lisa Lumpkin, Junior Editor, when the newsletter and Handbook/Supplement are available on the website, and she will give you the passwords. If you would prefer getting a hard (paper) copy of the newsletter, it will be available for a cost of $8 per year. A hard copy of the Handbook will be $10 and the Supplement, $6. A CD version of the Handbook/Supplement will be $2.50. If you would like to receive hard copies of these publications or the CD, you will need to send in your order form to Sarah Blankenship by July 24th.
